1973
Australian Radio Towers established in South Australia as a small but dedicated family business.
70/80s
Developed a strong client base throughout South Australia due to the team’s passion, commitment to innovation, strong company culture and human-centred approach.
1987
Operating base moved to Northern Territory to better service vital regional and remote projects and utilise innovation to deliver products and services to some of the most challenging environments.
2010
New manufacturing facilities opened in Murwillumbah, NSW – adding new depth to our service delivery, and allowing us to deliver every stage of our clients’ projects in-house, with fully-Australian-made products.
2017
Matt Bechly joins. Dr Matthew Bechly holds a PhD in wind energy and is a leading expert in Australia for turn-key wind system monitoring, encompassing design, engineering, installation, and maintenance. He previously spearheaded key divisions at DNV Renewables Advisory for the Pacific region, overseeing all wind and solar met mast data services, and power performance measurements across Australasia.
2021
ART acquires Flight brothers. Flight is one of Australia’s oldest and most reputed suppliers of communication towers, guyed masts, and on-rail hardware in additional industries. This strategic acquisition expands ART Group’s tower production presence to South Australia, allowing us to better serve our national clients through additional production capacity and product range to meet significant market demand for vertical infrastructure in the renewables sector.

2023
ART joins Lighthouse Industries. The acquisition of ART aligns with Lighthouse Industries’ strategy to consolidate an Australian sovereign supply-chain capability to manufacture, supply and accelerate the large-scale rollout of renewable energy infrastructure, required for Australia’s transition to a cleaner energy future.

ART acquires Pottsville Forge. This strategic acquisition expands ART Group’s fabrication and coating capacity, allowing us to better serve our national clients through additional production capacity and product range to meet significant market demand in the renewables sector.
